Welcome to our JR Watkins Family

Welcome from a 3rd generation JR Watkins family!

As a toddler one of the first things I remembered was the distinctive red Petro-Carbo salve can for everyday scrapes and cuts, insect bites and minor burns.  It was always within easy reach in every family and friends house we visited.  

My grandparents started using JR Watkins products around 1910. They would often recount wonderful stories of the "Watkins Man" coming up their driveway in rural Minnesota with a large assortment of spices and the famous cinnamon, vanilla and pepper products.  My grandfather used JR Watkins original liniment after a long day in the field for aching joints and muscles, not only for himself but also his horses!  My grandmother's cinnamon rolls were legendary in the County, her recipe sought after by many.  Her secret ingredient---JR Watkins Vanilla and Cinnamon!  

Aunts and uncles and cousins carried on the tradition of using JR Watkins products for over 100 years--through the Great Depression, two World Wars, boom and bust cycles to the present day--that's quite a testament to their unique value in today's competitive environment. 

The original JR Watkins products are still available today just as they were in my grandparents day, along with a whole host of additional award winning heritage medicinals, natural hand and body lotions, personal care products, cooking and baking spices.
